Dame Agatha Mary Clarissa Christie wrote an astonishing 80 novels, but some people wouldn’t recognize the title of one of her books or even her name.

Agatha Christie was born on Sept. 15, 1890. She was the youngest of three children, born to a wealthy middle class family.
Christie had long enjoyed mysterious detective novels and even tried to write one in 1916. But not only was she a woman trying to write, she was a nurse during World War I.

Agatha Christie had two husbands — NOT AT THE SAME TIME!

A few years before her divorce from husband No. 1, Archibald, Christie gave birth to her daughter Rosalind Margaret Clarissa Hicks.

Sadly, all things come to an end. Christie died in her home due to natural causes. She is now buried at St. Mary’s Church in Cholsey, South Oxfordshire, England.
