All About World Heritage Day

World Heritage Day also known as “International Day” is a celebration that falls on April 18.

Everyday, people around the world celebrate their cultural heritage. On this day, it encourages others to celebrate and observe other cultures.

This day is also to bring awareness to cultural monuments around the world. This day is about expanding awareness of diversity and heritage.

According to daysoftheyear.com, “The International Day for Monuments and Sites” (World Heritage day) was established in 1982 by the International Council for Monuments and Sites (ICOMOS).

To other cities, states, and countries, their culture is important to them, that’s the reason we celebrate this day.
